Check-in runs from 2pm to 7pm, so call ahead if you will land later than that. Free self-parking is on site, right at the door, which makes late arrivals with a dog painless.

Getting there and parking

Gladstone Road is the southern approach into Rockhampton, so if you are driving the Bruce Highway through town the motel is directly on your route. Everything a road-tripper needs, vets, supermarkets and takeaways, is close by in Allenstown, and the city centre and riverbank are under ten minutes away.

Close by with the dogs

The Fitzroy River bank at the Riverside Precinct is an easy on-leash stroll, and Berserker Leash Free Dog Park is the fenced off-leash option in North Rockhampton. Georgeson Oval at The Range is the other off-leash park if you are heading into town. Kershaw Gardens also has designated off-leash precincts, fenced in the central section. For another pet-friendly bed in the same suburb, Motel Lodge is the fallback if the pet rooms are taken.
