Dear Darnell's is a fire-and-smoke restaurant in an old trading post right on the Bussell Highway through Witchcliffe, a short drive south of Margaret River. Dogs are welcome in the alfresco courtyard, which is enclosed and heated with a potbelly stove in winter.

Dog setup. Dogs are seated in the outdoor alfresco area only, not the indoor dining room. Booking ahead and mentioning you are bringing a dog is worth doing, since the outdoor section is popular and can fill on weekends. Bring your own water bowl to be safe rather than assuming one will be out.
