Klin-i Cafe'&Thai Kitchen

Klin-i Cafe and Thai Kitchen is a small family-run Thai spot at shop 2, 20 Farrant Street in Stafford Heights, doing proper Thai cooking from a quiet suburban strip. The handful of footpath tables out front take dogs, and reviewers consistently single out the food rather than the scenery: chilli basil stir fry, massaman curry, curry puffs and roti with coconut rice.

Dogs stay outside at the footpath tables, leashed beside you; the small interior is people-only under the usual Queensland food rules. Seating is limited, so arrive early or plan to take away if the two tables are full. No water bowl is a given here, so pack a portable one.

Worth knowing

Hours split across sessions: lunch runs from 8:30am to 1:30pm Wednesday to Sunday, with dinner service Tuesday evenings from 4:30pm to 8pm, and the venue is closed Mondays. If the dog would rather not wait on a suburban footpath, online collection order is the honest fallback: order ahead, bring the dog to the door, and eat at the park down the road.

Getting there and parking

Farrant Street is a quiet residential strip with kerbside parking out front and on the side streets, so parking is never the problem. The calm street also makes it a low-stakes venue for dogs still learning to settle at cafes.
