What visitors mention
Paddys Eat & Drink is a lively Irish-themed pub inside the historic Exchange Hotel on Hannan Street, and dogs are welcome on the alfresco deck out back.
The dog setup. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor terrace, or "deck," and you can walk them through the main restaurant to reach it. The deck is heated, so it stays comfortable for outdoor dining with a dog on cooler Goldfields evenings. No fee for bringing a dog, and staff are generally welcoming, but bring your own bowl for water.

Known for. Hearty pub classics, steaks, burgers and Irish staples, plus regular live music that pulls a crowd. It's one of the busier venues on Hannan Street, especially evenings and weekends.
Getting there and parking. 139 Hannan Street, in the centre of town. Street parking on Hannan Street can fill up; side streets near the Exchange Hotel are usually easier.
Nearby with the dogs. Hannan Street itself is good for a wander past the historic gold-rush architecture. The Arboretum is a short drive for a proper off-lead stretch, and Norkal Park is another nearby green space. Several other cafes along Hannan Street allow dogs in their front outdoor seating too.
When to go. Weekend afternoons are calmer if you want a relaxed pint with your dog underfoot; evenings get loud with the live music crowd. Confirm the deck is open for dogs at the door, especially in bad weather.
