The Caroline Springs Lake path is directly opposite - a paved loop that stays on-leash under City of Melton rules, with rangers active on the shared tracks. For a proper off-lead run, the fenced dog park at Boronia Drive Reserve in Hillside is a short drive, or the lake cafe further around the shore keeps the outing dog-first.
