Getting there and parking

It is at 79 Bulcock Street, Caloundra, right in the middle of the strip. Street parking on Bulcock Street is limited and time-signed, so the nearby council car parks are easier on a busy day. The walk down to the beach is short and gently downhill, which your dog will appreciate on the way there and resent slightly on the way back.

Make a day of it

The Bulcock Beach foreshore and boardwalk are on-leash for a coastal stroll, while the main beach sand is off-limits to dogs under Sunshine Coast Council rules. For a proper off-leash run, the Currimundi Beach dog off-leash area is a short drive south, and Coochin Park at Dicky Beach covers the northern end. Classic Espresso Bar is a footpath-friendly coffee stop for the morning after.
