Smokehouse 720 is a rustic Texas-style BBQ smokehouse and saloon set up in a converted shed on Bacchus Marsh Road, and dogs are welcome in the outdoor courtyard seating.

It's a casual, industrial-style setup rather than a manicured beer garden, so bring your own water bowl since bowls aren't guaranteed. Dogs need to stay under control around the crowd.

Good to know. The kitchen smokes low and slow, think Wagyu black opal brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs and chilli dogs, with mac and cheese, coleslaw and pickles on the side. It's walk-ins only, no phone orders, and it's only open Fridays and Saturdays, so check current hours before heading over as it can sell out.

Getting there and parking. The venue is at 388 Bacchus Marsh Road, right on the main road into town, with ample free onsite parking, easy for anyone arriving with a dog in tow.
