Hybla Tavern(Middleton Beach)

Hybla Tavern sits right on Flinders Parade with the Middleton Beach foreshore stretching out in front of it, and it is the kind of pub where a long lunch slides easily into sunset drinks without anyone moving the car. The venue's own FAQ confirms what the deck looks like on a busy afternoon: dogs are welcome on the outdoor dining deck overlooking the foreshore, which makes this one of the more straightforward beachside pub options for dog owners on the WA south coast.

The policy comes straight from the venue: dogs join you on the outdoor deck and are not permitted inside the indoor dining spaces. The deck is the best seat in the house anyway, with water views over the bay, so the rule costs you little. Service runs from midday Friday through Sunday, from 3pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and the pub closes Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so the dog friendly session needs planning around those hours. Parking is available along Flinders Parade, and the sand is literally across the road for a pre or post lunch walk.
