Peppercorn Park

Peppercorn Park is a small, leafy neighbourhood park tucked at 9 Waltham Place, Richmond, behind the residential streets. It is a quiet spot for a short on-leash walk, not an off-leash run, so set expectations accordingly.

Getting there. Trams run nearby on Swan Street and Church Street, and it is within walking distance of Richmond Station. Street parking on Waltham Place and the surrounding streets is limited, and watch for residential parking restrictions.

Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the calm windows, which suits nervous or reactive dogs. Weekend mornings and after 4pm on weekdays bring more locals and playground traffic. For an off-leash run, Citizens Park or Barkly Gardens are the better nearby options.
