Weekday mornings and midday are far quieter if your dog needs room to settle. When weekend sport is on at the reserve, the car park fills too, so build in a few minutes.

Getting there and parking

Access is off Blatchford Drive and Goodfellows Road, with a dedicated on-site car park including accessible spaces near the main entries. The path from car park to dog area is wheelchair accessible. It is a straightforward drive off the Bruce Highway corridor for anyone coming from North Lakes or Mango Hill.

While you're out there

The wider reserve has public toilets, undercover picnic shelters with electric BBQs, a modern playground, a concrete pump track, a basketball and netball half-court, cricket nets and a fitness equipment circuit, so a dog session can easily stretch into a whole morning. When it is time for coffee, PureBred Coffee Bar in North Lakes is a dog-friendly stop on the way home.
