Darling Ranges Exclusive Dog Park

Darling Ranges Exclusive Dog Park is a private, fully fenced 2,500 square metre paddock on Lyster Road, booked out one group at a time so your dog gets the run of the place without another dog in sight.

The rules. Sessions are booked directly through Lyster Labradors, who run the park, either through their website or social pages. Your booking covers the whole park for that slot, no other dogs or owners are on site while you're there. The paddock is securely fenced, so it works as an off-leash space for reactive or nervous dogs that would not cope with a shared dog park.

What's there. Open grass with shade from surrounding trees, natural rural scenery in the Darling Ranges. It is a bare paddock rather than a fitted-out park, so do not expect agility gear, water bowls or bins as standard, bring your own water and bags.

Getting there. About 45 minutes south of Perth via the South Western Highway and Jarrahdale Road, turning onto Lyster Road. The last stretch is gravel, so take it slowly, especially with a trailer or low car.

Nearby with the dogs. Jarrahdale Local Po Kitchen and 701 Kitchen both have dog-friendly outdoor seating in the town centre, a short drive away, good for a coffee after a session.

Weekends, especially Sunday mornings, book out first, so get in early if you want a specific slot. Since it is exclusive-use by design, there is no such thing as a crowded visit, only a fully booked calendar, so plan a few days ahead.
