Darling Ranges Exclusive Dog Park

Darling Ranges Exclusive Dog Park is a private, fully fenced 2,500 square metre paddock on Lyster Road in Jarrahdale, booked out one group at a time so your dog gets the run of the place without another dog in sight. For reactive, nervous or in-training dogs that cannot cope with a shared dog park, that single detail is the entire reason to book.

The dog setup

Sessions are booked directly through Lyster Labradors, who run the park, via their website or social pages. Your booking covers the whole park for the slot: no other dogs or owners are on site while you are there, so you can drop the lead the moment you are inside the secure fencing.

This is open grass with shade from surrounding trees and Darling Ranges scenery rather than a fitted-out park. Do not expect agility gear, water bowls or bins as standard, so bring your own water and bags and take everything home.

Worth knowing

Opening hours run from around 6:30am to 7pm, which makes early morning and evening slots practical for working dogs and Perth heat. Hire is charged per session and confirmed at booking, and the exclusivity means you can train recall, fetch or reactivity work without an audience.

Getting there

The park is about 45 minutes south of Perth, reached via the South Western Highway and then Jarrahdale Road. Lyster Road is gravel for the final stretch, so take it steady, and there is room to park on the property.

Make a day of it
