Bibra Loop Dog Park

Bibra Loop Dog Park is a neighbourhood reserve in Dalyellup, on the Capel coast south of Bunbury, used by locals for daily off-leash exercise and lap-after-lap loop walks. It is a community park rather than a fenced destination dog park, so come for the open grass and the quiet, not for agility gear and canteens.

The dog setup

The reserve is an open grassed space with a walking path circling the loop, and dogs are permitted off-leash under Shire of Capel rules as long as they stay under effective control. That means within your line of sight, responsive to your voice, and back on the lead the moment things get tense with another dog. Confirm the off-leash boundary on the signage when you arrive, because local reserves can carry different conditions from street to street.

Bring your own water and pick up after your dog; bins are provided across Capel Shire reserves. Shade is limited, so summer visits are best kept to early morning or evening, and the unfenced layout means dogs still learning recall are better off on the lead until they are reliable.

This is a quiet local space with a small regular crowd rather than a busy social scene. If your dog thrives on meeting other dogs, the after-work window draws the most traffic; mid-morning on weekdays you will often have the loop to yourself. Treat it as a straightforward exercise stop rather than a big day out.

The park sits inside the Dalyellup residential area, with street parking along the surrounding avenues and a short walk in from the kerb. There is no dedicated car park, so pick a safe spot on the street and keep leads handy until you are clear of driveways. Dalyellup is about ten minutes from Bunbury along Bussell Highway.
