What visitors mention
The setup. Gun Cotton Coffee Roasters is a converted warehouse cafe at 41 Pioneer Road, Yandina, directly opposite the train station. Dogs are welcome at the umbrella-shaded tables out front, which are the pick of the seats anyway. Inside is a two-level roastery space and generally kept people-only, so plan to sit outside with the dog.
Good to know. The coffee is roasted a couple of doors down at their own shed, and the breakfasts pull a crowd. Staff are used to dogs on the footpath, but bring your own water bowl, especially on a warm morning when the front tables fill fast.
Getting there. Street parking is the main option and it gets tight on Saturday mornings, when Yandina Markets traffic takes over the block. Arrive early or come on a weekday for an easy park. Being opposite the station makes it a simple train stop if you would rather not drive.
Nearby. The Saturday markets are a short walk and fine for a leashed dog, and the fenced off-leash area at Tea Tree Park is a few minutes away to burn off energy before or after coffee.
