Good to know. The draw is a big range of freshly made ice cream, plus Dippin Dots flash-frozen pellets, waffles, milkshakes and coffee. It is a popular family spot and gets busy, especially on warm evenings. Open seven days, generally from late morning until 9:30 or 10 pm.

Getting there and parking. Street parking runs along The Esplanade and fills fast on weekends and warm nights. Free off-street public carparks sit behind the main strip of shops, a short walk away. The shop is right on the paved foreshore walking path.

Nearby with the dogs. The Warners Bay foreshore path is directly opposite, flat and paved, with shaded grassy areas and benches for sitting with your dog. Several other cafes along The Esplanade also take dogs at their outdoor tables, so it is easy to make a loop of it.
