Beach Hut Coffee

Beach Hut Coffee sits at 2 Beach Road in Ulverstone, directly opposite the foreshore, and it is regularly named among the most dog-friendly cafes on Tasmania's north-west coast. The combination does the talking: courtyard seating at the back, pup cups at the counter and the beach across the road.

Free street parking runs along Beach Road, with a public car park near the playground for busier days. The cafe sits right where the town meets the beach, so once parked you can walk everywhere.

The foreshore path runs straight past the door for an on-lead stroll, and under Central Coast Council rules the western end of Turners Beach is a designated off-leash stretch a short drive up the coast, though neighbouring sections flip to strict on-lead, so check the signs at each beach entry.
