Pelican's Cafe sits right on the banks of the Murray River at South Yunderup, and it is one of the easiest dog-friendly stops on the water. The outdoor lawn area is undercover, dog-welcoming, and looks straight out over the river, with a public jetty for anyone arriving by boat.

Nearby with the dogs. There is a park across the road suited to a walk before or after your meal, plus scenic foreshore paths along the Murray River for a stroll once you have eaten.

Closed Tuesdays, so check hours before you drive out. Go for a relaxed brunch on the lawn, and bring a lead you trust around the ducks and the jetty.
