Levanti

Levanti is a Mediterranean-inspired all-day cafe on Palmer Street in South Townsville, with alfresco tables looking over the marina. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area, and the water view makes the short lead-walk from the CBD worth it.

Getting there and parking

Levanti is at 79 Palmer Street, an easy walk from the city over the low-level bridge. Free street parking runs along Palmer Street and the side streets, though it fills on weekend mornings.

North Queensland sun is the practical constraint on outdoor dining here, so aim for a shaded table or an early sitting in the warmer months, and weekday breakfasts are easier to settle into than weekends.

While you are out there
