Top Seeds Coffee

Top Seeds Coffee is a boutique roastery cafe tucked into the Corporate Avenue industrial estate off Stud Road, part of the 1961 Coffee Roasters family with a Japanese-leaning kitchen. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating out front.

The dog setup. Dogs are allowed at the outdoor tables on the concrete area right by the entrance. Indoors is for people only. Staff generally put a water bowl out, but it is worth asking on a hot day rather than assuming one will be waiting.

Good to know. This is a specialty coffee spot with a genuine Japanese kitchen behind it, think Japanese curry (usually Wednesday to Friday) and fresh sandwiches alongside the usual cafe run of matcha lattes and bentos. It is quieter than the main Rowville strips, which suits a relaxed coffee stop with a dog in tow.

Getting there and parking. It sits on Corporate Avenue, off Stud Road, in an industrial estate rather than a shopping strip. Free street-level parking is normally easy to find directly out front.

Nearby with the dogs. Waterlea Reserve is about 1.5 kilometres away for a walk before or after coffee, and Emerson Place Fenced Dog Park is roughly 2.8 kilometres away if your dog needs an off-leash run.

When to go. Weekday mornings are calmest given the industrial estate location. Good for a low-key coffee stop rather than a destination hangout.
