Southern Surf Coffee Van

A small outdoor coffee caravan tucked behind the Southern Surf shop on North Terrace, open seven days from around 7am to early afternoon. It is an easy, dog-friendly stop with a few casual seats and a sandpit, geared to surfers, locals and dog walkers.

The dog setup. The whole thing is outdoors, so dogs settle right in beside you at the casual seating. It is a well-known dog stop that will do a puppuccino, and water is easy to come by, though bring your own bowl on a hot morning.

Good to know. Expect quality coffee, toasties and a few sweet treats, ordered and enjoyed at a relaxed, quick pace. The calm vibe is the point.

Getting there. It is at 36 North Terrace with free street parking along the terrace and side streets, and it is an easy walk or ride from nearby accommodation and the beach paths.

Nearby. The Port Elliot Holiday Park is close by, and Horseshoe Bay and the coastal walk are a short stroll on for a proper leg-stretch.
