Eccomi

Eccomi is an all-day Italian bar, bottega and cafe in the Norwood Place arcade at 161 The Parade, from the founder of CIBO. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, so you can park your dog beside you for anything from a quick espresso to a long lunch.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating directly in front of the venue, facing The Parade, and in the arcade area. Indoors is off-limits, which makes sense given the deli-style food display running the length of the room. Bring a portable water bowl, as the Parade precinct is not guaranteed to have one at every table.

Good to know. The draw is house-made Italian fare: pastries, arancini, lasagna, cannoli and pizza by the slice, plus a solid list of spritzes and wines by the glass. It runs from breakfast through to late most nights, so it works for a morning coffee or an evening aperitivo.

Getting there. Norwood Place has undercover and open-air parking, which is the easy option. There is also two-hour metered parking on The Parade, though it gets busy, and buses run along The Parade if you would rather not drive.

When to go. The outdoor tables are pleasant off-peak. Aim for mid-morning or mid-afternoon to dodge the breakfast and lunch rushes, and you will have room to settle a dog comfortably.
