What visitors mention
Ordinary Day Cafe is a bright, modern all-day spot at Maitland Place in Norwest, one of the more genuinely dog-friendly cafes in the precinct with room for dogs both outside and inside.
Dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating and, unusually for the area, inside as well, on lead and under control. The layout is spacious, giving dogs room to settle rather than squeeze under a small table. Water bowls are generally out in the outdoor area, and the cafe is known for serving puppuccinos.
Known for. Corn fritters, matcha and a solid breakfast and brunch menu, alongside cold-pressed juices and friendly service. Open seven days, roughly 7am to 4pm, so it covers both a weekday coffee run and weekend brunch.
Getting there and parking. The cafe is at 7 Maitland Place, Norwest NSW 2153, in a quieter pocket of the business park away from the main Marketown strip. Street parking is available, with paid parking options nearby.
Nearby with the dogs. Norwest Lake's walking path is a short drive or moderate walk away for a longer loop. Crestwood Reserve, a larger park with open space, is also close by if your dog needs a proper run after brunch.

When to go. Being off the main strip, it stays calmer than the Marketown cafes even on weekends, good for dogs that find crowded outdoor seating stressful.
