The Little Fig

The Little Fig is a cosy, art-and-books-filled cafe on Winston Avenue in Melrose Park, known for reliable coffee and generous homemade cakes and slices. Dogs are welcome in the undercover front seating area, right on the footpath.

The setup. Seating is out front, under cover, with a small shaded patch that suits a dog on a hot day. Indoor tables are for humans only, as is standard for SA cafes. Keep leads short given the footpath is shared with other pedestrians.

Good to know. Bring your own water bowl to be safe. Staff are used to dogs stopping by, but a bowl on the table isn't guaranteed every visit.
