Xpresso

Xpresso is a long-running local favourite on The Centreway in Lara, and dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating both out front on the street and in the courtyard area out back. It is one of the more established dog-friendly options in the Lara shopping strip.

The dog setup. Dogs can join you at the front street tables or the courtyard seating out the back, and some of the outdoor seating is covered and heated for cooler mornings. Keep dogs leashed and settled beside you. Bring your own bowl for water, and check with staff on the day about treats.

Known for. Strong coffee, hearty breakfasts and a genuinely good range of vegan and vegetarian options alongside the usual cafe classics, all with fast, friendly service.

Getting there. Xpresso sits centrally on The Centreway, an easy walk if you are already through the shopping strip. Free parking is available nearby.

A good breakfast stop before or after a walk at nearby You Yangs Regional Park, or Lara Lake Reserve if you want something closer.
