Ballarat Farmers Market runs twice a month in North Gardens Reserve, right on the Lake Wendouree foreshore, and it has a genuine reputation as a dog-friendly event rather than one that merely tolerates them.

Nearby with the dogs. The market sits directly on the Lake Wendouree foreshore trail, so a walk around the lake bookends a shop nicely. Prime Ministers Walk and the open lawns of North Gardens are both a short stroll away for a run-around after the stalls.
