Nearby with the dogs. Hornsby Park is about a ten-minute walk away with open lawns and paths for a stretch before or after coffee. Fagan Park in Galston, a short drive out, has wide paved tracks and off-leash areas if you want to make more of the trip.

Weekday mornings before the centre fills up are the easiest time to grab an outdoor table with a dog in tow.
