Orchid Co sits on Garden Street, more or less opposite the Geelong Botanic Gardens, which makes it a natural coffee stop on a gardens-and-Eastern-Park loop. It is a small, well-liked specialty cafe and a genuine local go-to for dog walkers.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the undercover decking out front, and there are reports of dogs being allowed inside as well, so it is worth asking on the day. Keep them on-leash. The staff are known to keep puppy treats on hand.
