The Lab by Coffee Bean

The Lab by Coffee Bean is a container-style specialty coffee cafe at 15 Douglas Mawson Drive in Dubbo, and it welcomes dogs in the open plaza seating around the cafe, which makes it an easy coffee stop with the dog when you are out that side of town.

The dog setup. Dogs settle in the outdoor and shaded plaza areas surrounding the cafe, not inside. The open plaza gives you room to tuck a dog beside the table without blocking foot traffic. Staff are accommodating and will often bring out a water bowl on request; bring your own as a backstop.

Getting there and parking. 15 Douglas Mawson Drive, just off the main routes. There is easy free street parking plus an on-site lot, and the cafe is wheelchair accessible, so arriving with a dog and gear is straightforward.

Nearby with the dogs. Sir Roden Cutler Park is a few minutes away for a post-coffee walk, and the Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden on the same side of town has paved, dog-friendly tracks.
