An industrial-style bakery and cafe on Charlton Avenue in Cheltenham, family-run and well liked for artisan baked goods and good coffee. The pull for dog owners is the welcoming front setup, complete with water bowls out the door.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor and footpath tables directly out the front. Indoors is for people, so you will order at the counter and settle your dog outside. Water bowls are put out front, though a travel bowl is worth carrying for a longer catch-up.

Good to know. Known for fresh house-baked breads and pastries that can sell out, plus reliably good specialty coffee. It is open Monday to Saturday, morning to mid-afternoon, and gets busy.

Getting there. Find it at 1/16 Charlton Avenue. Street parking runs along Charlton Avenue and the side streets, tight at the weekend peak. It is a short walk from Cheltenham Station, easy to reach on foot with the dog.

Nearby with the dogs. Cheltenham Park is close for a leg-stretch, with off-leash space when sport is not on. Farm Road Reserve, a fully fenced linear dog park, is also within easy reach for a run before or after coffee.
