The Laneway Cafe

The Laneway Cafe is a family run cafe on Port Hacking Road in Caringbah, and its drawcard for dog owners is the sun drenched rear courtyard: a proper outdoor room rather than a couple of footpath stools. The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the rear courtyard and at the front outdoor tables, giving you two positions depending on the sun and the crowd. The courtyard is the pick with a dog: set back from the road, enclosed by the building line, and roomy enough for a bed or mat under the table. The cafe's own posts show regular dog visits, and staff are reported to keep treats behind the counter.

The menu runs from a bacon and egg roll through to a portuguese chicken burger with chilli jam and a falafel wrap for the plant based crowd, family friendly in tone and portion.
