Kiitos Cafe

Kiitos Cafe sits in the Campbell 5 precinct at 1 Kalma Way, and it is one of the more genuinely dog-welcoming cafes in inner Canberra. The outdoor tables are generously spaced, water bowls are dotted around, and there is a jar of treats at the counter, so it works as a proper post-walk stop rather than a grudging one. The kitchen is known for its signature French toast with seasonal fruit and maple syrup, Belgian waffles and breakfast rolls, and the coffee and smoothie list is consistently well rated, including a lychee and mint smoothie worth ordering out of season. Hours are 6:30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 4pm Sunday. Weekends draw a crowd, so arrive earlier for a quieter table.

Street parking runs along Kalma Way and the surrounding Campbell streets, and the precinct is an easy walk for anyone staying nearby or working in the city's inner north.
