What visitors mention
Junction Cafe - North Shore is a casual grab-and-go kiosk right on the edge of Junction Park Playground in Burdell. It draws a steady local crowd for coffee and breakfast rolls, and it is genuinely set up for dogs, with shaded outdoor tables, water bowls and the odd puppuccino on offer.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the shaded outdoor seating, not indoors. Keep your dog on-leash and close, the tables sit right next to a busy playground with young kids around. Staff put out fresh water bowls for visiting dogs and will often bring out a puppuccino, but confirm on the day as offerings can vary.
Good to know. Known for its coffee and iced drinks, plus a fast breakfast and brunch menu of pastries, breakfast rolls and milkshakes. Open mornings only, roughly 7am to 1pm, seven days. You can order ahead through the Bopple app to skip the queue.
Getting there and parking. The cafe is at 5 Rockingham Drive, Burdell. There is free street parking plus a car park around the North Shore precinct, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Nearby with the dogs. Solaris Recreation Reserve, a few minutes away on Cira Way, has a dedicated off-leash dog area and wide walking tracks. Sunhaven Park on Sunhaven Boulevard has paved paths for an easy on-leash stroll. For a bigger outing, Pallarenda Dog Beach at Town Common is a drive further out but worth it for an off-leash run by the water.
Best visited early, before the 1pm close and while the outdoor tables are still in the shade. Good for a coffee stop before or after a lap of the playground and park.
