Espresso Depot

Espresso Depot opens at 6am on Learmonth Street and trades through to 4pm, making it Buninyong's early coffee stop as well as its lunch backup. It appears in the AGFG pets category, and visitors report sitting with dogs at the alfresco seating out front, so the morning run and the midday feed both work with a dog in tow. The early open also makes it the pre walk coffee stop before the dog park run.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the alfresco seating, according to the AGFG listing and Google listing level reports; there is no standalone venue site stating a policy, so treat it as settled practice rather than a published promise. Early mornings are the calm window, and the footpath tables put you in sight of the street while you eat. Bring water for the dog in summer, as the alfresco side catches the morning sun. The footpath out front is wide enough for leads to sit flat, and the 6am weekday open makes the early run the calmest option.

The cabinet runs to scones, cakes and carrot cake, with focaccia and toasted sandwiches covering lunch and a pumpkin soup appearing through the cooler months. Weekday hours run 6am to 4pm, weekends 7am to 4pm. Weekends are busier from opening, so the 7am start suits a settled dog best.

Learmonth Street parking is easy outside the school peak, and the cafe sits a short walk from the Warrenheip Street strip, so errands and coffee chain easily.
