Getting there. Very close to Anstey Station on the Upfield line, which is the easy way in. Street parking on Breese Street is limited and a nearby dirt lot has been removed, so public transport or a walk is the better call.

Nearby with the dogs. Gilpin Park is close, with a fenced dog park in the southwest corner and a 24-hour off-leash area. Sydney Road is a short walk for a leashed wander.

Best mid-morning when the work crowd thins. Good for a calm dog happy to lie low indoors.
