Hadley’s Cafe

Hadley's Cafe is a casual neighbourhood coffee spot in Boorooma on the northern side of Wagga Wagga, named after the owners' own dog, and it shows. This is a cafe that has thought about dogs rather than just tolerating them, with a covered courtyard set up for four-legged visitors.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor covered courtyard, on lead and well behaved. Water bowls are put out for visiting dogs, and the cafe has occasionally run pup-cup treats during special events, though do not count on that being a daily thing. Ask staff what is on when you visit, and keep the lead on until you are sure your dog is settled, since the courtyard is cosy rather than sprawling.

Pepsi: a courtyard with a water bowl waiting is basically a five-star review from me, just keep the lead on until you're sure it's calm.

Coffee and the vibe

Regulars rate the coffee and the friendly service, and reviewers consistently flag it as a genuinely dog-friendly local. The menu covers breakfast and lunch standards with burgers and matcha making appearances alongside the coffee. Hours run 7am to 3pm Monday to Wednesday, 7am to 3:30pm Thursday and Friday, and 8am to 1pm on weekends.

Getting there and nearby

It is a suburban Boorooma location with street parking nearby. There is no dedicated off-leash park listed for this pocket of Wagga Wagga yet, so a lead walk around the block before or after coffee is the easiest option. If you want a proper run, the fenced enclosures at Gobbagombalin Fenced Dog Park or Chaston Pet Hub are both a short drive away. For a second stop in town, The Early Bird Wagga is another dog-friendly cafe toward the centre.
