Arise

Arise is a modern, casual cafe at Shop 5, 1A Glanmire Road, Baulkham Hills, built around good coffee and a solid brunch menu. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, so it's an easy coffee stop with the dog in tow.

The dog setup. Dogs stay in the outdoor seating out front, on the flat pavement and courtyard area with easy street-level access. Staff are friendly about it, but there's no mention of dog water or treats laid on, so bring a portable bowl.

Good to know. The draw is consistent, well-made coffee alongside brunch and lunch - wraps, sandwiches, acai bowls and small plates. It's open seven days (Mon-Fri from 6am, weekends from 7am).

Getting there. There's a free on-site car park plus free street parking, and local buses run along Windsor Road and Glanmire Road.

When to go. Grab an outdoor table off-peak if you want room for the dog, then walk it off at nearby Sophia Doyle Reserve or Coolong Reserve, both a short hop away for an on-leash wander.
