The Crepe Cafe

The Crepe Cafe is a family-run, all-day spot on Zillmere Road in Aspley, north Brisbane, and dogs are welcome at the open-air tables out the front. It trades from 7.30am to 4pm every day of the week, which makes it an easy post-walk breakfast or an afternoon crepe stop.

The dog setup

Dogs join you at the outdoor seating at the front of the shop, on leash beside your table. Indoors stays for people only, as with most cafes. Staff will often bring out a water bowl, but pack a collapsible one to be sure on a warm Brisbane day. The front tables sit back from the main flow of the car park, so a settled dog will be comfortable here.

Worth knowing

The kitchen is built around freshly made sweet and savoury crepes, alongside all-day breakfast and lunch, with gluten-free and vegan choices on the menu. Serving sizes get a regular mention, so think twice before ordering a second round for the table. Weekday mornings are the calm window; the shop gets busier on weekends and through the lunch hours.

Getting there and parking

Find it at Shop 27, 815 Zillmere Road, in the Aspley Village precinct. There is free off-street parking in the surrounding car park with level access from there to the tables, which makes the whole visit straightforward with a dog in tow.

Close by with the dogs
