Trinity Green

Trinity Green is a neighbourhood park off Trinity Rise in College Grove, on Bunbury's southern edge, and it works as a tidy on-lead stroll rather than a bush hike. The draw is a wide limestone path and the native planting the City of Bunbury keeps adding around it.

Lead rules

Dogs are welcome on lead under City of Bunbury rules. Near the playground, follow the signs, as dogs may be kept out of the equipment area altogether.

The walk

The main path is a 3-metre-wide limestone track built for easy access. It runs past open grass and an adventure playground with a flying fox, with young houses on one side and pockets of retained native bush on the other.

Council landscaping has added native tube stock, mulch and new canopy trees. That shade is still growing in, so for now much of the path is open.

Getting started

Park on the street near the entry. The park's facilities are built around the playground rather than dogs, so bring bags and water for yours.

Pair it with

For a longer outing, Manea Park Walking Trail heads into bushland and spring wildflowers, and Lions Park Fenced Dog Park is the place for off-lead play.

Go early on warm days while the new trees fill in. The flat, firm path suits older dogs and anyone pushing a pram alongside.
