Pearce Reserve

Pearce Reserve runs from Whitby Road through to Joseph Banks Drive in Kings Langley, and Blacktown City Council lists it as a designated off-lead dog area. That is the reason to come.

Leads and the off-lead area

Dogs can be off the lead here, but they must stay under effective control and you need to follow the signs at the reserve.

Max: Off-lead still means under control. Read the signs at the entry before you unclip.

The walk

A paved concrete shared path links the reserve, running past outdoor fitness and play equipment, the sports field and the basketball and tennis courts. Open, well-kept grass fields give dogs room to stretch out.

Water and shade

Dog water on site is limited, so bring a bottle and a bowl. Bins are around the grounds and sports areas.

Trees ring the fields, but shade along the paths is patchy at some times of day.

Getting there

Street parking is off Joseph Banks Drive and Whitby Road, and it fills up during big weekend sports events.
