East Shores to Spinnaker Park

This waterfront walk links East Shores Parklands in Gladstone Central with Spinnaker Park in Callemondah, with views over Gladstone Harbour. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Lead rules

Gladstone Ports Corporation owns and manages these parklands, rather than the local council. Dogs must be on a lead at all times on the walking tracks.

They are not allowed in the East Shores Water Play Park or in the playgrounds.

The walk

The tracks are sealed multi-use paths, so the going is easy. Along the way you take in the harbour, the working port and local wetlands.

Max: Multi-use path, so expect bikes. Give the water play park a wide berth, as dogs are not allowed in.

Make a day of it

Grounded Society in South Gladstone is a good place to finish with a coffee.

Suits dogs who walk well on a lead and owners who enjoy a working harbour view. Bring water for the dog.
