Dennis Morrissey Park

Denis Morrissey Park, sometimes spelled Dennis, sits on the corner of Montacute Road and St Bernards Road in Hectorville, with a creekside path and a fenced dog park in one spot. Dogs walk on lead around the park and run free inside the enclosure.

Leads and the off-lead area

Campbelltown City Council requires dogs to be leashed in the general park. Off-lead play is only allowed inside Four Paws Park, the fenced enclosure with jumps and other agility gear.

The walk

A concrete path of about 600 metres loops through the park beside Fourth Creek. Mature trees shade the route, and it passes open lawns and a children's playground.

It works well as a warm-up or cool-down lap around a session in the enclosure.

Water and parking

There is a dog drinking fountain inside Four Paws Park, bins around the grounds and an accessible public toilet. Parking is off St Bernards Road.
