Blackmans Point Reserve

Grassy riverbank and quiet water views make Blackmans Point Reserve a calm stop near Port Macquarie. Birdwatchers know it well, and it suits an easy on-lead amble.

Lead rules

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council rules apply, so dogs stay on lead unless on-site signs mark an off-lead zone. Keep at least 10 metres from any play equipment and away from sensitive areas.

The walk

There is no formal track or measured loop. You walk informal grass and dirt across open ground that meets the river.

Picnic tables give you somewhere to sit. Dog water and bins are not confirmed, so pack a bowl, water and bags.
