Willunga's main street cafes mostly run dog-friendly outdoor tables, and Willa Coffee Shop on High Street is the local standout with its courtyard and verandah seating. For a walk, Willunga Basin Trail starts from town for a longer leashed loop. McLaren Vale's cellar doors are minutes away by car, and Symonds Reserve Fenced Dog Park at Aldinga Beach gives you a proper off-lead run, with the beach itself an off-leash exercise area under Onkaparinga council rules outside the seasonal daylight hours.
