Mt Remarkable Hotel Motel

Mt Remarkable Hotel Motel is the classic country pub at 14 Stuart Street, in the middle of Melrose and right at the base of Mount Remarkable, a natural stop for hikers and dirt bikers working the Southern Flinders Ranges. Dogs are welcome on the verandah for a meal, and pet-friendly motel rooms exist but are limited, so book with a call, not just online.

Outside the room, dogs are welcome on the verandah for alfresco dining, on leash and under control. Water bowls are not guaranteed, so bring your own.

The hotel sits on Stuart Street, the main thoroughfare through Melrose, with free street parking out front. Melrose is roughly three hours' drive from Adelaide up through the Southern Flinders.

Close by with the dogs
