Altitude 1148 Dining

Altitude 1148 is a restaurant, cafe, and function venue at the top of Bulli Pass, with sweeping views over the Illawarra escarpment and coastline. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor balcony, on lead, while the main dining room stays dog-free.

Dog access. The balcony is the dog-friendly area, with dogs permitted on lead alongside their owners while dining. Indoor seating is not available for dogs. Staff are generally welcoming, but it is worth bringing your own water bowl rather than assuming one will be on hand.

Known for. Panoramic coastal views from the top of Bulli Pass, a menu that spans breakfast through dinner, and a strong Indian and modern Australian selection alongside seafood. Gelato Emporium is next door for dessert.

Getting there and parking. The venue is at 124 Princes Highway, Bulli, at the top of the Bulli Pass scenic drive. On-site parking is available directly outside.

Nearby with the dogs. Bulli Beach is a short drive down the pass and has off-leash hours set by Wollongong City Council, worth checking before you go. The escarpment around Bulli Tops also has short lookout walks if you want to stretch your dog's legs before or after lunch.
