Webb Park Fenced Dog Park

Webb Park is a fully fenced, off-leash dog park in West Gladstone, split into separate areas for small and large dogs, which makes it one of the more social off-leash spots in the Gladstone region.

The rules: Dogs must stay on lead until you are through the double-gated entrance, in line with Gladstone Regional Council's rules for dogs in public places. Once inside the fenced enclosure dogs can run off-leash. Owners are expected to keep voice control over their dog and clean up after them; poop bags are usually available on site.

What's there: Separate yards for small and large dogs, play and agility equipment, a water station and wash-down area, shaded seating for owners, and on-site parking.

Getting there: The park sits off Palm Drive/Hetherington St in West Gladstone with on-street parking near the entrance. Sunbus Gladstone services run along Blain Drive and Dawson Highway if you are without a car, so check current timetables for the closest stop.

Nearby with the dogs: A few cafes along Dawson Highway have outdoor seating for a coffee stop after the park. If you are visiting from out of town, wider Gladstone has pet-friendly stays, but confirm the pet policy directly when booking.

Weekday mornings and evenings are the quiet window here. Friday and weekend mornings draw the biggest crowd, so aim either side of that if your dog is nervous around groups.
