Aldershot Reserve Dog Park

Aldershot Reserve Dog Park is a fully fenced off-leash park on Aldershot Road in St Albans Park, a short drive from central Geelong. Its standout is the split design: separate active and passive zones give high-energy and low-energy dogs their own space in the same facility.

The dog setup

Off-leash applies only inside the two fenced zones; the wider reserve, including the 650-metre circuit path, is on-lead territory. The City of Greater Geelong expects waste picked up and dogs under effective control at all times, and the dog area itself has drink fountains with integrated dog bowls and seating for owners. Shade inside the enclosures is limited, so morning sessions are kinder on dark-coated dogs in summer.

The passive zone suits smaller, older or timid dogs, while the active zone takes the zoomies. Walk the fence line and check both gates are fully closed before you unclip.
