The menu runs wider than a standard lake cafe: smashed avo and crepes cover breakfast, a bacon and egg burger handles the hearty end, and fish tacos and scotch fillet push it toward all-day dining. Staff come up repeatedly in visitor feedback as welcoming, which is half the dog-friendly equation; the other half is the outdoor tables, which front the water rather than a car park. Because it opens before most of the town stirs, the 6:30 to 8am window is the quietest slot for a settled dog, with the foreshore to yourself and your coffee arriving before the brunch crowd.
