Grace St Cafe

Grace St Cafe runs out of 81 Scarborough Beach Road, on the corner of Grace Street, a block back from the sand at Scarborough Beach in Perth's western suburbs. It is an all-day brunch cafe with a community feel, rated consistently well for both the food and the staff, and a dependable coffee stop once the foreshore walk is done.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the casual covered outdoor tables, which have shade through the day, while the interior stays for humans. Staff are used to dogs and generally keep water bowls on hand, and dog treats are reported too, though on a busy Sunday pack your own bowl just in case.

Worth knowing

The kitchen works all-day brunch: shakshuka, corn fritters, a halloumi poke bowl and avocado on toast, with ricotta doughnuts and the house papanasi as the sweet draw. Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 2pm (kitchen from 7.30am) and Saturday to Sunday 7.30am to 2.30pm, so it is a daytime operation, breakfast and lunch only. The corner of Scarborough Beach Road and Grace Street is an easy walk from the main beach strip, and street parking runs along Scarborough Beach Road and the residential streets behind. It suits a dog trip as a first or last stop on a coastal loop.
