The Nursery Cafe

The Nursery Cafe is a weekend-only Punjabi cafe inside the Canberra Nursery & Garden Centre at 44 Railway Street, Oaks Estate. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor garden seating area on lead, which is the main draw for visiting with your dog.

The dog setup. Dogs are permitted in the rustic outdoor seating area surrounding the cafe, shaded by plants and greenery. No dog fees apply, but dogs must be kept on a leash and well-behaved around other patrons and plant shoppers. The open garden setting provides room for a leashed dog to settle beside your table.

Good to know. The cafe specialises in authentic Punjabi cuisine, including stuffed parathas from $10, Sarson da Saag, chai, and mango lassi. Opening hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 4 PM only.

Getting there & parking. Onsite customer parking is available at the nursery. The location is convenient if you are coming from Oaks Estate, Queanbeyan, or surrounding ACT areas.
