Matilda Mont Albert is a Parisian-inspired corner cafe on Arcade Road, known for its pastry case, brunch menu and a leafy outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome. Not to be confused with the St Kilda restaurant of the same name.

Nearby with the dogs. Mont Albert North Reserve is a short walk away for a post-brunch stretch, and the Koonung Creek Trail is close enough for a longer loop before or after coffee.

Go early on weekends if you want a table in the outdoor seating, it fills fast with locals and their dogs.
